新刊ですが、中身は2015年から2018年に雑誌に雑誌に連載したものです。2ページで1記事になっています。記事の順番が年代順ではないので読みにくいです。なぜこんな形で出版したのかはわかりません。私の憶測では、斎藤貴男の経済状況が厳しのではないか、出版社は彼を助けるためと彼の文章を残すため、それに勿論一般市民にこの国の現状を知らせるためでもあります。
悲しいかな、ジャーナリストの限界としてこの現状を変革する方法・手段は書かれていません。彼自身もわからないのかもしれません。
彼は、仕事や著作でうさを晴らせるかもしれませんが、読者にはやりきれなさが残ります。それが諦めにつながらないことを祈りつつ、彼にはこれからも頑張ってもらいたいと思います。
