「食を極めたい」という人がいるように、「セックスを極めたい」という人がいてもいいですね。
食べることも、セックスすることも「普通に」できることかもしれないけど。極めるのは大変ですよね。できないかもしれません。
食べることも、いくら頑張ったってお腹が一杯に慣れば食べられないし、セックスもずっとできるわけではありません。それに、食べることなら自分で料理を作ることもできるし、材料の野菜を自分で栽培することもできます。それら全部が「極める」の中に入っています。つまり、生活と食べることが一緒になるわけです。
ゼックスは残念ながらひとりですることには限界があります（オナニーを極めるなら別だけど）。でも、そのために相手を探したり、お金だって稼がなければならないでしょう。そうすると、生活とセックスが一緒になるのです。
それって、ほとんどの人がやっていることなのではないでしょうか。食べることもセックスも、生活そのものです。要はそれを「大きく」「重要に」考えるかどうか。というよりもその社会でそれがどういう位置を占めているのかの違いなのではないでしょうか。
