新実存主義　マルクス・ガブリエル著　(岩波新書) (日本語)

新書なので、一般向けだろうと高をくくって「新品」を買った。

読んでみたが、理解できない。むずかしい。

自然主義、あるいは唯物論がはびこり、心はニューロンの隆起に還元されるということで片付けている現代哲学への批判である。脳の存在は必要条件ではあるが、十分条件ではない。彼は、精神（Geist)と自然（Nature)との区別は形式的なものに過ぎないと言う。

彼が自然主義をことさら批判するのは、彼独特のパフォーマンスでもあると思う。

この本が難しいのは、私の知識不足によるところがほとんどであるが、彼特有のパフォーマンス的な叙述の仕方と、翻訳のせいもあると思う。哲学用語と日常用語が混在している彼の本の翻訳には原語のルビが必要だと思う。そうしないと、私のような素人は誤読するか、理解不能に陥ってしまう。

遅きに失したが、『「私」は脳ではない』を注文した。

Because it is a shinsho book, I bought a new one by going high if it was for the general public.

I read, but I don't understand. It is difficult.

It is a criticism of modernism, or naturalism, or materialism, in which the mind is cleaned up by the rise of neurons. The presence of the brain is a necessary condition, but not a sufficient condition. He says that the distinction between geist and nature is only formal.

I think his criticism of naturalism is his unique performance.

Most of the difficulty in this book is due to my lack of knowledge, but I think there is also his unique way of performing narrative and translation. I think the translation of his book, which mixes philosophical and everyday terms, requires the original ruby. Otherwise, amateurs like me will either misread or become incomprehensible.
