元本の『いったい、この国はどうなってしまったのか！』 (NHK出版 2003/4/28)と、当時雑誌に書いた小文を集めたもの。
もう十数年前の本だが、当時すでにそんな状況だったのかと思う。当時危惧した法案がすべて成立している現在、事態はより悪化している。コロナが収束していないのに、国会を閉じ、安倍は、自分の任期中に憲法を改正すると言う。
国民よ、気づいてくれ。戦争をしてはいけない。
海外勤務をしている人よ。申し訳ないが、会社が利益のために勝手に海外進出をしているのだ。会社が攻撃されても、あなたと無関係な自衛隊員が、命をかけてあなたを守る義務はない。会社はそれだけのリスクを覚悟して海外進出をしているのだ。それはあなた自信が一番わかっているでしょう。それを理由に日本が戦争をしたら、あなた自身だけじゃなくて、子々孫々まで後悔しますよ。
