ゆく売れた本である。しかし、これは学者等の著作を仕事とする人のための本であって、一般向けではない。それでも売れたというのは、日本において漫画以外の本を読む知識人というのが非常に限られてきているからではないか。悪く言えば学者同士がお互いの本を買っているような状況である。
これでは知的な格差が広がるばかりである。学者の知識が高いと言っているのではない。認識（手段、方法、量）が違ってくるのだ。学者の知識が民衆に伝わることもなく、民衆の意識が学者に伝わることもない。その壁を破るきっかけはどこにでも転がっているはずなのだが。
コンピュータに関する認識は、当時としてはすばらしい（ただし、整理法の延長としてだが）。いまは、それとは逆な発想、つまり、コンピュータを与えられた前提として、そこからコンピュータの限界、あるいは反人間性を説かなければならない時代だ。

It is a book that sold well. However, this is a book for those who work as scholars, not for the general public. The reason why it sold even so is that the number of intellectuals who read books other than manga is very limited in Japan. To put it badly, it is like scholars buying each other's books.
This will only widen the intellectual disparity. I'm not saying that the knowledge of scholars is high. Perceptions (means, methods, quantities) are different. The knowledge of the scholar is not transmitted to the people, and the consciousness of the people is not transmitted to the scholar. The reason for breaking that wall should be rolling everywhere.
The recognition of computers was wonderful at that time (although as an extension of the organization method). Now is the time when we have to explain the opposite idea, that is, the limit of the computer or the anti-human nature from the premise given the computer.
