I like music movies. I think "Amadeus" is a masterpiece, and I also love "Nodame Cantabile".

What is music?

I don't know. Somehow, humans may have something like a "musical instinct" (although I can't admit that "instinct" yet).

Beautiful music

I'm jealous of playing an instrument. I can't play a single instrument. I've tried it, but I don't have any "guts" at all, so I can't play it.

Still, I know that if you practice, you'll get better. If you don't, you won't be "successful". (There may be "talent".)

But what kind of music you think is "pleasant" or "beautiful" is stipulated in history and culture. Even if there is a "musical instinct", it is stipulated how it will appear. For example, even if human beings have an instinct to "use words," how they appear is stipulated in culture, society, and climate. I don't think there is anything like "words in general". There are only individual "special languages".

"Human ideals" (although "ideal humans" are fine), "human rights", "justice", "good", "love", etc. There may be, but if it does, its manifestation passes through the filter of culture. No expression is observed that does not pass through the filter.

Makeup

Kasumi-chan is very cute. The gal appearance in the appearance scene is also very cute, but I don't think they are the same person. Makeup is amazing.

The makeup also depends on the times and culture. There is no "eternal thing" such as "general beauty", that is, "women's" beauty "".

Sheet music

There is a score as a means to convey the music or "the thoughts of the composer".

Sheet music has been devised in various ways to convey the author's thoughts. Even after the "staff" was created, various symbols were added, and from the beginning of the 20th century, there were scores that looked like abstract paintings and scores that changed.

But not everything can be conveyed in the score. If you can tell, the performance does not change depending on the conductor.

Literature is the same. Written literature remains, but its interpretation varies.

And the reader will change. Few people read the same novel for more than 100 years. The novel is being reproduced as the reader changes.

Music is the same. The person who is played will change. It is always reproduced. Music has been played and sung even in the days when there was no sheet music. Literature has also been oral tradition. It has just been reproduced. But they are not "simple reproduction". In fact, "simple reproduction" is just one fantasy. It will continue to change depending on the person who makes it, the person who uses it, and the times and culture.

Both letters and sheet music are "records". There are "recording culture" and "non-recording culture (or" remembering "culture)" in the world. I don't really understand the difference. There is a story that even if it is a "culture to record", there are cultures in which the record is "a culture that has authority and becomes power" and a culture that is not. However, that may be just a one-sided view (idealism).

Movie

The movie is just recorded. The movie gets old. I think this movie is also 10 years old (all the actors are actually 10 years old). But what the movie tried to convey remains in people's minds as "memory."
